No doc it's a cry for help

i have tried to commit suicide (failed luckily) had i had some1 supporting me and telling me and advising me how best to live my life not end it i would not have tried it.#

yet had i come here and got adviced the best way to kill myself i would have succeded come on get a grip.

there are genuine people out there who just need some1 to talk to
At last !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone who noticed that my remaks were flippant.

And were ignored by the poster, because the poster was not really asking about a painless way to end his life ...

He was having a laugh and seeing if he could start a row about drinking yourself to death with Vodka.

I agree with monkeyeyes. Like him, I didn't answer because I thought this was a wind-up. Apart from that, the name 'Michael' rung a bell. Anyone remember this?

One and the same, I'd say - and I hope I'm not wrong.
I was on that thread and gave mike the benefit of the doubt that he was serious.I gave him my number and offered to call him back if he wanted to talk.Thing is lucy thomass did tell him to hurry up and do it , and could he put it on youtube.Rtaxron also was very sad in his posts to mike.
Personally my opinion was if he was serious he was serious then he needed help.Ifhe was joking then h also needed some form of help .Its no joking matter and thats why i offeered to help. But i was disgusted at some of the stupid jibes and the goading to hurry up and kill himself.Very reminiscent of the paltalk suicide .

HTH ?
If it was genuine, and someone here said the 'right' thing to stop that person from killing themselves...then bravo to that person.

If someone said 'put your head on the railway track' and then posted a timetable.....and that person did that today....how would you all feel?

I would go with the first choice...and try and help that person.

weather or not it was a hoax makes no difference what if someone genuine comes on how are you going to know the difference
Exactly wheres lucy thomas today ?
Oh monkey ... "me and my friends aren't drinking with you Jayne because we didn't like something you posted"

And I'm the one having a sulk ????

do people have to have a web cam showing them taking tablets/ hanging themselves before someone tries to help NO i don't think so what harm can advice be (good) even if it's a hoax yet the negative remarks could lead to his death
doc i went on self destruction but am all good now thanks to certain people help thank god u weren't there when i needed help
This is not the place oldgrape to announce self destruction.

Right, so as well as an authority on what posts are genuine or not on here, you also dictate what we as users can and can't post on here?

Well, as long as we understand the way it works round here.
Cor, girl.............you do get your thong in a twist, don't you ?

That is not what I said, nor an approximation of it.
If you find that you have rubbed people up the wrong way over this matter and they have decided that you aren't quite the 'good time girl' they had believed you to be, then you have only yourself to blame.

I have never had a glass of wine with you..........

In the six monthe I've been an ABer, there have been hundreds of cries for help.

I always (except for this one and LungCancer) give them the benefit of the doubt.

But if someone is genuine, it's best not to get involved AT ALL !!

If you give the guy a shoulder to cry on and then he kills himself, we will all be called to give evidence at the inquest.

And the first question to each of us will be ... Could you please tell the Court what Counselling qualifications you have ?

The answer the Coroner is looking for is not "Well, I go on a chat site sometimes"

Doc that's a sweeping generalisation. That may not be what or why you come here.It may not be the intention of the websites creators or administrators. But you cannot possibly speak for every user on here or what they do or don't get from the site .And where do you presume folk go if they are feeling suicidal?Does everyone have the Samaritans on speed dial?At a low ebb or a weak point in anyone's life i can only assume , and not Tell folk , that suicide or even just thoughts of suicide may cross their minds. What defines our individuality is that not everyone dwells on these thoughts.Sadly some do.

There but for the grace of god.

And never ever assume you know whats running through a persons mind. That is crass stupidity and egotistical to assume you are all knowledgeable.

No one is .
There is no way on this planet that a coroner would call participants of a chat site to give evidence at an inquest of someone they didn't know..............unless that person had encouraged the suicide victim to get on with it,or advised him in ways to carry out the act.
Sorry monkey. I misunderstood you.

That seems to have happened a lot in the last 24 hours.

Daffy ... how many inquests have you sat through?

If it's more than me (3) then I will bow to your better knowledge of how carefully a suicide victims last days are examined.
