I have an 8 month old baby & started running about 2 months after having her. I am running 4 - 5 times a week & can now run 9 miles. Last night my baby was playing up & so was up til about 4am with her, once she managed to get to sleep I started with a tickly cough. I normally go running at 9am on a Wednesday morning but cancelled with my friend because husband said it wasn't a good idea considering the kind of night I had. I'm now sat at home, little girl in bed feeling dead guilty about not going for a run. Did I do the right thing by not going or am I using lack of sleep/coming down with a cold an excuse?????
