We're thinking of buying a Tens machine from Lloyds Chemist, as they are on special offer at 14.99 (was 39.99).
Have any other ABers tried this Tens machine and what do think of it?
Many thanks in advance.

Fantastic help. I even use mine when travelling on long journeys. Obviuosly it depends what part pf your body you need it for to be able to to this. Mine is on hips mainly.
My dad just bought the one from Lloyds, he has problems with his knee and lower leg and says it's helping him a lot, the assistant in the shop said they'd had no complaints and some customers had said that even though it's a battery operated one rather than electric, it worked as well if not better :o)
Hi Wispy - I bought 3, one for myself & two for other members of the family. I am happy with my purchase. They are not suitable for everyone, such as people with heart problems. There are places on the body you can't use them, such as the head / chest. If you go on the Lloyds website, it has a lot of information on their tens machine. www.lloydspharmacy.co.uk Click on the ad, it will tell you all about them.
skyep-In some cases TENS machines can be used on the chest, the only time it isn't advised is if you have a pacemaker fitted. I have been using one given to me by the pain clinic at hospital on my right chest for 6 weeks. It has reduced my nerve pain by about 30%
My dad regulary uses his Tens machine for his bad back and shoulders. He thinks it is a great help. He even offered to lend it to me for when Im in labour! lol
