... and in the accompanying glass?

I knocked together an impromptu roast - half-leg of British lamb from Mr Aldi - just simply chucked in the air fryer at 160C for an hour - absolutely fantastic - moist/pink inside and charred and tasty outside.

Some saute spuds and (pre-made) cauli-cheese to go with.

And gness made some very nice gravy - I think all this "can't cook, won't cook" is just a facade ... possibly :)

A bottle of Willy Willy Shiraz from the STWC was stunning - a new one for me & very tasty indeed :

I've got some trout I may do something with...or there's some chevre in the fridge I could bake. I'm so damn tired right now...I just want my food to appear like magic. And don't suggest takeaways...I'd surely be disappointed. Particularly when I'm watching MasterChef.
a very very spicy vegetable chilli.
Digression - Private Eye this week has a balls-up cutting - a letter from a school in Bradford telling parents their children will be going to a Natural Resources park for a day finding things and photo-shoots - and to forget to bring their willies.
The remains of yesterday's pork loin roast, reheated. With sprouts, stuffing, onion potatoes and low fat sausage meat. Don't normally eat roasts during the week but I wanted to make some room in the freezer.

a willy willy is one of those little mini-whirlwinds, in Australianese. ("Dust devil" in southern Africa, I think.)

Just had quarter pounder burger in bun with salad & a few chips. Drinking water. Later, a lage glass of Merlot.
A lard sandwich laced with salt; a 5-bean salad (5 baked beans with a shred of lettuce); a chunk of roly-poly pudding; and all washed down with a mug of dandelion wine...Great stuff.
Just finished a tuna steak (med/rare) tender stem broccoli, little carrots and green beans....with a chilli sauce.

There's wine in the fridge but I don't know what it is.
On my own tonight so might just pop out and check out a local restaurant world is literally my oyster or whatever else I decide on. There's a Korean restaurant I might try, anyone got any recommendations for that?
