I did. Result is my heart is 6 years older than the rest of me, probably due to me being able to lose 5 kilos. It's rubbish, I had a thorough cardio test a couple of months ago and according to Señor Corazon, I am fine.
I tried this earlier, it said my heart was 2 years older than me. I’m not overweight, I don’t smoke, so I can only assume that it thinks my postcode is a problem. It never asked how much I drank, or if I did any exercise. Load of crap.
my heart age is under my actual - expectancy 84 - what they don't count is exercise or the form of it....try 2 hours of lawn mowing per week (by foot) to begin with....and then the strimming and the rest of living in the sticks.
When I answered truthfully...don't know cholesterol and BP, took BP meds( 30+ years ago for 3-4 months during pregnancy ), it gave me an age of 9 years older. A second go...taking a reasonable guess on BP, and saying no to taking meds, and my heart is still 2 years older. Surprised it's not screaming at us all to take statins. That IS the official solution, isn't it?
It says this tool is not suitable for me as I have cardio vascular disease. Lol. Having just about survived a quadruple bypass plus 4 CA's whilst on the table a few months ago and coughing up blood in the mornings since I think I know the state of my coronary function. I attended a follow up cardio clinic today as it happens.
Boy do those paddles leave some nice sun tans on my beautifully honed torso when zapped with a zillion volts 4 times (or maybe several joules. Whatever makes you levitate :-))
