I know lots of answers, but there are no comforting ones, warfarin doesn't actually thin the blood, fact !! , it is just anti-coagulant , I am at moderate risk, if I was low risk I would be on aspirin, I will not have my life controlled by drugs that are not a FIX, warfarin is for A F , have tracked warfarin doses and alcohol levels deliberately, alcohol has no effect on inr , but gp insists I should stay on it but feel it is typical nhs procedure, not easy this , but refuse to give in
