I heard today that the Duke could be in hospital for up to 2 weeks, makes me think there could be complications then. He had a stent put in & normally people are out within 4 days.
I had open heart surgery to put in a new artery & unblock 2 ventricles and was out on my 7th day. I know the Duke is 90, but it makes you think there could be complications doesn't it?

who knows?
Maybe a way of getting the old bugger to slow down for a couple of weeks, have to say though, the Queen looked a little forlorn without him yesterday
They`ve got to be 100% sure before they allow anyone like him home, just in case.
according to a cardiologist on Breakfast on Christmas Day - I think it was - the length of stay is mainly governed by the amount of damage suffered by the heart muscle during the attack. Added to this is the patients age and his/her general health. So maybe plusses and minuses all over the place and the hospital isnt likely to check HIM out to free up for a commoner are they!

Sorry that was a bit harsh on the hospital.

I must apologise I heard on the radio (or I thought I heard) the Duke would be in H for a fortnight, DOH! what was really said was he'll be there for a "Fourth Night"..
I've had one of my SMs again. Sorry folks.

Yep, he's coming out this morning, the press are lined up outside Papworth now.
He's just been driven out in a convoy, but made no comment (prince flipflop, that is) - come on sqaddy, your turn!
boxy with a bit of luck, I should be out on New Years Day.

Please no press releases
