Money is power beattie819 and unfortunately the likes of yourself lose out to those who have the financial clout.
What a feckin' ridiculous way of selling tickets in the first place.
even boris johnson hasnt got a ticket according to the daily mail...but im sure there will be someone to make sure he gets in...
it's not supposed to be "fair" - it is supposed to be a lottery. And by that reasoning, someone who applied for £11,000 worth of tickets is more likely to get some that someone who applied for £150 worth
I got some but I don't know what they are - presumably they'll notify me some time in the next 12 months or so. But like bednobs says, it's a lottery. The more tickets you buy, the bigger chance of winning something.
did they email you jno?
i only ask cause i don't get my CC statement for about another month, so i wondered if i'd know if i got some?
I applied for about £5,000 worth.

I got ...

... nothing, zilch nada, zero.

=0(
oh dear jj you will have to jog around brighton,a coach might see you think you are good enough to compete in the 500 metres and hey presto...youre in...lol
According to the news he applied for £36,000 and got £11,000. Is he a tout or is he genuinely going to use them?
I`ve got 20 tickets for the Olympic Stadium.....

West Ham v Doncaster Rovers
you are nicely set up for the synchronised swimming final then, Jayne, on the next round of allocation.

Congrats (and please I don't need a ticket for that).

Seriously, I know a woman who was on the Canadian team for that "sport" but, to be fair to her, she is a double Olympian having been a skier and is now a Doctor to both the Canuck winter and summer teams.

An impressive record if not a medallist.
Oh and I had gone for West Ham verus Truro......or at worst, Blackpool
I only applied for sports that I genuinely wanted to see.

I didn't apply for the "no chance" tickets ... like the 100m.

The only track finals I applied for were the 400m.
bednobs, it appeared last night on my credit card statement, which I can access online. Seems to be athletics though I can't remember exactly which ones (certainly won't be a final). I haven't heard anything from the organisers yet.
and yes, it does seem unfair that someone called "joggerjayne" gets nothing while someone called "fatslobjno" gets athletics tickets.
LOL
Are you allowed to sell tickets on?
I did not get any either!!! :-(
HarryF ...

No, but you can sell them back through the official Olympic website.
