I'm wearing a long navy blue dress tomorrow to a wedding with navy pumps with a small find embellishment and a small gold clutch.

What colour should I get my nails painted?

I'd go a similar blue to match, let your embellishment and clutch pop rather than your nails as it's your outfit which should be noticed more.

Do you want to look a bit blendy in? Or do you want to be a little more 'out there'?
Manicured and shiny for blendy in, navy blue otherwise.

They are and you need decent nails for it to look good. I'd also go with a matching blue if you can find it or else a gold to match your clutch.

Just so long as you put on a clear base coat first Greedyfly. Friend ended up with blue nails after a wedding. Have a lovely time.

I always use a basecoat but I have a couple of dark blue and teal polishes that I actually have to scrub my hands with bleach once I've removed it, the colour smears all over my fingers.
