I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

I have been taking cuttings off house plants, very therapeutic.

Going off line now and am going to have a very early night, so oight, oight in advance.

I am watching telly after eating a waitrose prawn curry which was very nice. I am in a cant be bothered to cook phase at the moment then my stomach gets hungry and my head cant be bothered to do anything about it so I eat junk.....must get some more ready meals in the freezer I think.

I've had a couch potato evening Woofy and we had Heinz Beanz &Sausages on tst with fried eggs for tea ....oooh we do live well here .
From there being b. all on the tele I now have loads of catch up .
I watched A Mothers Son which was quite good and then Mrs Biggs which I thought was brilliant .Still have to catch up with JR and Bobby . I was a Dallas fan back in the day. The Bletchley Circle looks good for tomorrow .
Oight Oight folks sleep toight .
had a very nice time on the river - lunch in Richmond, cruise to Hampton Court, and back by train. Free travel for biddy badge holders, of course

and a discount on the boat and at Zizzi. Lovely warm sun the whole day.
I used to love using the water busses in London when I was a kid. I'd take my lunch up to the tower of London and go see the jewels. We have fog here.

Morning all
Cool here round the back but sunny .Supposed to warm up though .
I like these sort of September days .
Sounds like a lovely relaxing day Jno .
We stayed at the Richmond Hill Hotel once upon time .I remember it being quite posh with views across the meadows .The company paid ,we didn't !
Hope all Biddys are well .
Must peg out ....pip pip for now .
Morning all, lovely September back-to-school weather here too, dew on spider's webs etc.
That sounds idyllic jno...Hampton court's such a beautiful place.

I enjoyed Mrs Biggs too shaney. I can watch the Dallas repeat (on Friday at 8pm). Love the sound of your haute cuisine tea :) I had a ready meal & a choc ice (not all at once), I could barely lift a knife and fork let alone a saucepan.

I need to pop out for some anti histamines, I daresay the bugs haven't finished with me yet. Then it'll probably be a lolling in the garden afternoon, might as well enjoy it while it lasts. I'd better go and get suitably dressed, I can't possibly face the world in this terribly common t shirt... rolls eyes

(Apparently M&S had a free delivery day yesterday, I'm annoyed their mails are arriving 24 hrs too late).

Lol Robinia ...I must be as common as muck :)
Morning, I am covered in bites. Have doused the dog and cat again, as these look more like flea bites than gnat bites.

Am off out now to meet friend.

See you later.

Lottie apparently this is new and the business for dealing with fleas on dogs or cats. You need to treat the house at the same time.

Hi all. Lovely morning and I'm really getting cracking with cleaning and catching up on jobs after my s days of appointments.
Enjoy your outing with your friend Lottie. I'm going to Nottingham with a friend next week as the Live at Lunch music sessions start again. Really looking forward to getting back to normal. I have an appointment to see Mr Heras Pelou next Wednesday hopefully then the plaster will come off and he will hand me over to the Therapy department.
I'm even doing a bit of left handerd sorting out in the garden at last. Not heavy stuff just trimming a pottering which as you say can be therapeutic. Hope you're all having a good day. \It's exercise time now. Laters 'gaters.
hello jude, nice to see you. I have just poured a whole glass of limeadey stuff over my newly washed settee cover.
Glad you're getting back into it Jude but don't go mad, there's no rush to get things done :)
I still haven't been out, I've been doing other stuff... I feel a bit dizzy actually and it's very blustery which makes me feel worse....
Hi all, busy today trying to book flights in Nov and of course its not easy.

Garlic is supposed to be good at preventing fleas mixed in with the food. and also course salt will kill off fleas in carpets and furniture, which we can ony do in winter otherwise it melts in the heat.

Hot here again have just been in the much cooler pool which is really really nice, off for a nap now as I'm tired!!!
Hi Biddies. Back from lunch.

Woofy, thanks for the link. I have just phoned the vets and they sale it. Haven't bought any because it is undoubtedly cheaper on line. Apparently you just pop them a pill when you see a flea on them or suspect they have them, and the fleas die almost immediately. But after 24 hours they lose the immunity and you have to keep popping pills. I would treat indoors, but the cat will go out and just pick up more fleas. Have to have a think about it.

I don't have fleas myself, but I eat loads of garlic.

Just wondering if my back will stand up to a short walk with Meggie. I haven't been for a walk as such for ages, but managed to get round Fakenham at lunchtime. It was lovely today. Bright sunshine, market in the town centre and the Bistro had brought all its tables out in a big area. It was like being in Ibiza!!
Coming to blows with you know who again, better go for that walk now methinks!!! ;o)
lol Lottie...walking away, good strategy.
Nice walk in the sunshine. Met a guy I know and had a nice chat then walked back on the fields they have harvested. Very enjoyable, but a very slow walk, I am taking things in stages. Have now prepared a beef casserole. Don't think I will venture back into the argument thread, Woofy. ;o)
