I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

Possums, I lost the thread and had to wrack my brains as to where we were!
Lovely day here, as ever, still too hot and weaty for my liking.
Oh lottie, I gave myself the exact black eye when I was living and working in a hotel, I turn the light off on the opp wall and threw myself back onto the bed and yes wow hit the corner of the table, so result black eye!!
Love all the new aviators. I am being very lazy lately, just do the bare essentials. I washed our sheets yesterday and changed and cleaned the bathroom today, but really can't be bothered to hoover and dust all through, so if it looks OK (without glasses on) then that's fine.

Another lovely day .I bumbled in the garden and put line of washing out and sat and read a book for a while .Had to come in and lie down though as felt a bit sickly for some reason .Went up stairs and slept for two hours .Unlike me to sleep during the day .
I hope you are all Ok and have had a good day though .

Hi Shaney. Hope you feel better tomorrow. I sleep better during the day than I do at night if I am honest. I am definitely an owl not a lark!!

Evenin' all..what a fabulous day it's been. Spent some of it at Trent Lock...it was lovely when we first got there, nice and quiet...and then all the bloomin world and his wife and kids turned up so we moved on to the marina. tut...don't you just hate the public who go out on nice days. I can understand why people on the coast don't like grockles :)
Actually we probably could have gate crashed 3 functions ..there was a wedding at the church with a red London bus for the guests...a wedding anniversary do in the pub...and a wedding renewal at the marina (we sat in an arbour and spied on that one :))
Anyway we did a bit of sailing, not quite a cruise to Hampton court but we ran into a bit of bother

well, I went grockling again, to Ashdown House and White Horse Hill and Waylands Smithy, all somewhere round the Oxfordshire border. Not that many people around, they were probably all at the coast somewhere.
Should be two lots of fireworks tonight, one for the river festival, one for the Paralympics. Don't these people check their diaries at all?

Good morning biddies, gosh what a lot of gallivanters you are! My life is positively staid in comparison and I want to go out and about. Still hot here, had to put the air con on again last night much to Mr N's displeasure.
Off to the middle of the island for a famous omelette lunch in Sta Innes.

Another lovely day here .I wish we could have this weather for another couple of weeks but it looks as if it's back to normal tomorrow .Rain .
Sounds as if you had a lovely day Robinia .Nice break for you and I like the swan,he's very handsome .
I could grockle along to The Fishermans Hospital and Friends Meeting House today but it means traipsing on the bus and I'm not in the mood for busses ,so I'll just slack about at home .I missed a good grockle the other day though Jno ..they opened the old victorian chapel to the public ( in the cemetery )which is only up the road .I would love to have had a look .Never mind ,another time perhaps .

Another lovely day. My black eye is now black, blue and red and looks worse, but not to worry. It's only Mr LL that is here to notice and he is used to me looking frightening!!!

Ha ha Robi, love it, my sister and I made the same recording mistakes twice when I was over. Even though your face is blurred (obviously so as not to be recognised my the general public!) you look very young and slim, lovely!
We had a lovely lunch, so quiet and peaceful there, then came home and slept due to the wine. Now I feel yukky!! Mr N has just taken hija to work.
