get another drama teacher?
Maybe she was right
Sounds like his/her teaching is crap.

You should try and find someone who can give you a more constructive criticism so that you can take steps to improve your acting.

Visit your local library and try reading some autobiographies by successful actors, you may get some ideas from their early experiences.

Good luck. (or should I say "break a leg"*)

Top of the class Dris
but should be in the "jokes" section.
Don't worry, lindylou, you can always get a part in Corrie.
i read once that acting is a profession you should only consider if you are going to be utterly miserable doing anything else.

That's the foundation youo need to even try and make a success in the most over-staffed demanding profession in the world.

That said, a simply knock back at this stage is a fly-swat compared to what is waiting for you.

Forget the 'X Factor' and 'BGT' auditions - if you walk into the room and you don't look right, you'll be rejected before you open your mouth, without some good advice from Simon Cowell to help you along you way.

Develop the ambition of a president, the hide of a rhino, and the patience of a Trappist monk. With those, and the luck of a lottery winner, you may work some of the time.

If those odds and that basis don;t sound attractive, think about doing acting as a hobby, and something else as a career.

Good luck - you really will need it.
