One thing to consider is how the make up of body type affect the ability to perform roles, considering it in terms of body strength and fitness, and stamina, and suitability for environment... Is it specifically tied to gender, or do types cross gender boundaries Cultural differences, access to education is a hot one comparing western and repressive regimes that sort of thing.... Those two alone should give you plenty to talk about.
failing that, who should put the bins out?
Why do employers pay men more than women in spite of its illegality (and why did they before it was illegal) ?

Is it ever appropriate to treat genders differently in work, in sport, in education ?

Why can't public toilets be split between urinals and cubicles instead of men and women (most men's cubicles are underused while women have to queue for theirs)?

A man opening a door for a woman - courtesy or power-play ?

Why in some cultures is menstruation considered dirty ?

Why is FGM considered barbaric, but circumcision acceptable ?

"Why can't public toilets be split between urinals and cubicles" - because I am not the only woman who wouldn't want to walk past a man using a urinal in order to use the loo. I find that an outrageous suggestion.
I thought canary meant completely separate areas, Prudie. Urinals only in one ‘room’ and cubicles only in the other.
That's not necessary Prudie (although I did encounter it on a Turkish ferry many years ago - nobody got upset).

My suggestion was two separate sections, one for urinals, one for cubicles. Men/women use same cubicle at home, why not in public.
Crossed.
People who share homes aren’t strangers, canary.
Apologies, I misread it as the all in the same room. Mind you, not sure why we are answering. What do you think of it so far Devangyan?
A French restaurant I went to once on the Ile de Re had that arrangement, Prudie. One cubicle, 1 urinal and you had to pass the urinal to reach the cubicle. Since it opened onto a corridor and someone hadn't shut the door it was easy to check if the urinal was in use before going in - but coming out!!!
What about Strangers on a train - they all use the same cubicle ;-)
They’re not in the same area together, canary. It’s one at a time. The rest are outside in a public area.
It's a bit different at home or on a train/plane. In effect you go into a room or fully walled-in space and shut the door. That's not a cubicle.
The French, Dutch and Belgians are much more laid back about it. We've been on one campsite in France where you have to pass a line of urinals to get to the washing-up area.
Aren't mens public toilets a bit stinky? Would we have separate sinks, Canary? We don't want to be titivating, re-applying lipstick and checking that everything is where it should be alongside the men who do wash their hands.
Hope it never happens here. For some reason many ladies toilets here have become quite luxurious. Baskets of goodies to sample. Scents to try. Combs should you have forgotten yours.
We share information about which are the best toilets to use when traveling about the country.....as well as best pubs of course. ;-)
Is it ever appropriate to treat genders differently in work, in sport, in education ?

treat differently in sport ...do you mean 'pay'?

If yes...then ...yes.
gness. I think that womens' loos would be a bit more smelly than they are now if the women didn't have flushable bowls. Men have maybe one flushable bowl and six urinals. Treat us like that and we will smell a bit.
Male urine actually does have a different, and stronger smell :-).
Devan, the first difference would be between sex (actual born differences) and gender (expectations).
From there, it's easy to see which is which.
The men's urinals are being constantly flushed.
