I brought a book at a charity shop yesterday that states on the top that is a unproofed copy and not for sale. Could it be worth anything?
It's my Erica James and was published in 2010 TIAx

Unlikely. Publishers give them away as preview copies to libraries/booksellers etc. prior to publication.
I have a lot of proof copies,as I used to be a bookseller, and I once equired about selling them.I was told that they would only really be worth anything if there was something unique about them.If one were signed, for instance,or rarity value. It might be worth checking with an antiquarian bookseller but unfotunately it is unlikely.
I have a proof copy of George RR Martins Game Of Thrones with a signed bookplate on the first page.
