Anyone read 'a prayer for Owen meany'? It's been recommended to me and I've just downloaded it to my kindle. Also wondering about 'cider house rules' or any other books by the author.
Thanks.
Eccles...did you get into daily deals yet by googling it?

Thank you for your answer marwel, am looking forward to starting this book, and also reading the ones you mention.
I have read every one of John Irving's books many many times and I absolutely adore them all. One thing I will say about Owen Meany, is that is gets quite political in places and it was the only one of his books I found myself struggling with at times - not being too familiar with the US political situation during the Vietnam was, I got a bit bogged down in parts. In saying that, it's still a wonderful book. My favourite of his is Until I Find You.
