Start with the Innocence of Father Brown which was the first one.I don't think you need to read them in any particular order. You can get the Complete Father Brown on Amazon.I have read several and they are O.K. Very whimsical and of course biased towards the Roman Catholic faith which Chesterton converted to.( No offence to any RC's out there).
yes, you might like to imagine Father Brown as God, seeing into the hearts of others, setting the world to rights and punishing the naughty.

Cheers Shaney (glad to see you aren't really sticking to quizzes!) - I read the Innocence of FB last year and really enjoyed it. I picked up the Incredulity of FB (3rd one published) the other day and the first story is about FB investigating his own death. I wondered whether to carry on reading or whether to wait until I had read the Wisdom oFB.
No.. carry on reading the one you are on at the moment. There isn't really any sequence of events. They are all good stories as a one off read.I've read all James Lee Burke's novels back to front !
Yes I am over here on things I can answer without getting into trouble !! I have barred myself from Chatterbank and have had to eat a peck of pickled pepper with Piper!
Enjoy GKC.
