Good, you can read up on it, perhaps.

I can't believe how rude your comment was.
The Power of One by Bryce Courtney. An amazing read.
Your two smiley faces after the comment obviously weren't enough, bednobs..........5 or 6 might have been more in order ?

perhaps :)
i guess gentle ribbing is to be taken as incredibly offensive now, oh well!
At least i didn't look directly into the thread and swear, or i would be facing a 2 post suspension now i suppose!
there are no smiley faces on any of bednobs comments showing here, JTH.....can you see some. If they are there, then that puts a different angle on the comment.

or perhaps the comment that dt found rude was about not having any idea what "of a short pier" means?
....................l those in HH guide series) now. What don't you understand about the word "best" :) :) <<<<<<<<<<<What are these ?

"dt, that's 11 (15 if you count all those in HH guide series) now. What don't you understand about the word "best" :) :) "
so the first bit of my post showed up but not the last 4 characters?
Isn't it "off" a short pier/ plank, or what you will.?
Triple checked and not showing - if you did include them well then that is different and I will get off my high horse.

Though I will say "Ed what the f is happening with the system, they are not showing here in the deepest SW!
The was almost like an apology............almost, but not quite.
I'd be hard pushed to choose between

A Tale of Two Cities and Les Miserables.
Yes, I am not sure what HH means - H.Hesse only wrote one Glass Blead Game.

And bednobs, your smileys are not showing - now quadruple checked at this end.....very bizarre. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and retract my barbed comment.

HH guide = hitch hikers guide
Dt they are on the reply at 20.38
Why do AB put a full stop in 24 hour clock times? Just a thought. Sorry to digress
Bednobs - you probably should have done a top 5! (For indecisive buggers like me)
Cant see them!

To be clear on HH as you term it, the first one.
The view from the frozen north confirms smiley faces. :D
