Maroon 4 - Jane?

Can anyone tell me why Marron 5's album is called 'Songs about Jane?'

Adam thanks "Jane, my muse" at the back of the sleeve and so I was just wondering?

The lead singer (Ithink - might have been one of the other band members) just finished a long term relationship with a girl called Jane. This was his way of getting it out of his system.

You are right it is Maroon 5 and not 4 - just a typo, it was Friday afternoon!!
