Chatterbank won't go at all. It pulls in the majority of replies at any one time. Of course, if people get fed up of it, they can always go over onto insurance. I went there once......sorry - three times now. It was...rivetting.

Leg I have been around for a while now,and I wasn't referring to you.

When I was at work the phrase about IT was that rubbish in = rubbish out and that sums up CB. At times the people that post rubbish spoil it, whereas if people use it with good nature and humour its great fun

While that's true, it does pull in the majority of replies. That doesn't necessarily mean it has the most users.

And it was also popular when it was initially launched back in 2005, however due to people spoiling it and it proving too much like hard work to maintain and monitor it didn't last beyond 6 months, so in could disappear again if it once again proves to be just not worth the bother.

As B00 said it has already been removed once before and that didn't go down too well from what I remember. In fact I think a whole new website was created by one user called Chatterbank so everyone went on that instead until it got reinstated here where it rightly belongs.
