Woah! So much hostility on this site? Why?
I have used forums and Q & A sites before but I have never come across so much childishness.
I perhaps shouldn't say this seeign as I am new, but why don't you all just grow up and use the site as it is intended. Ask question (valid questions) and receive answers?
It seems quite simple to me but it appears that there are some children on here that cannot follow the rules.

oldgrape, I am not stressed, merely curious. There is a difference.
Most people may be respected but there seem to be a select few who are out to cause trouble and throw insults around.
What exactly do you mean �I don�t appreciate everyone being classed the same�. If �everyone� has a problem then I am certain they can speak for themselves, or are you the appointed answerbank spokesperson? If you are then please accept my apologies for daring to have an opinion that differs from yours!
What is the point of any question? To gain knowledge would be my first thought!
I have now realised why there is so much hostility on here, it�s because there are too many shallow minded, self centred people like you on here!

Hiya,i dont know why there is so much hostility but i do know its only a certain few.Most people on here are really nice.There are a couple who like nothing more than to cause trouble and can also be extremely hurtful to other abers,especially when theyre obviously in need of a shoulder to cry on.I dont come on to often because of these people,i chose which threads to join very carefully.
My comments may cause friction,i dont know,but its my opinion.

Why do you think people are childish??? People use a bit of childish behaviour to have a bit of fun, forget all the rubbish thats happening around you for a bit!! EVERYONE has childish moments!! Well none of it really matters now does it BC. Your own thread has degenerated to the epitome of your grievance. We all recognise those who are the grist and those who are not on Answerbank, but it would be a bit rudimentary if we were all the same, and serious all the time.

I think theis site reflects real life really, not everyone will get on and sometimes there is banter. But I have to admit, that's why I like this site, I can air my views and people can agree or disagree. I think that threads may seem hostile because you may not know the users and take it out of contex.

I've seen some users bantering on one thread and agreeing in another with equal passion! Valid question though, but labelling users as children wasn't a good start!

No, it doesn't. It was a heartfelt response to someone who is just trying to be clever and articulate and seeking attention. If you don't like the way things are conducted on this site, use one of the many others you claim to be familiar with.
