I have a thick, very sticky white substance on some of my conservatory plants. I presume it is from an insect as it doesn't look like mould. I have sprayed it with insecticide but nothing shifts it. Any ideas welcome. Should I get rid of the plants?

I think Cb has become a travelling band - bit like us but without the refinement .....

Morning All. Have a good trip Vinny take care.

Hi Robinia. I agree with you about the weather could do with just a little sunshine now.

Having a quite day after Fri and Sat night. Another good one last night. The band was called Pro Rata and were very rocky which suited me. Do you ever go to the Party on the Green Robinia I went last year but it was last night so I didn't go as I'd made other arrangements.

Looking forward as usual to the footie later on.

See you all later. :o)

worth having a look at the Lost Gardens of Heligan if you haven't been there Vinny - not far from Eden and started by the same guy who created Eden, Tim Smit, famous for being palindromic.

waves to Vinny......have a great time, hope the weather's good & bring us all a pressie back. oh no, just had a thought....who's going to drive the BiddyBus when we go shopping? Looks like we'll have to take turns to use neti's donkey.

Is it today for the formatting changes btw?

Morning all Just had a visit from some friends I've known since I was 16. They now live in Aussie and they are over for their sons wedding. Had lovely morning.

Robinia what are these formatting changes you are on about please. Btw Party on the Green is quite a good night you take all your eats and drinks and set them up on the Green at Shardlow and there is entertainment etc. A good night if the weather is fine!! And today it looks like the rain may just keep away. ?Got my Dad's washing dry at least.

Watching footie again today - need I say!

See you all later! Have a good day! :o)

Good afternoon all.

Today I have made the decision to never venture out of Biddybank again to visit the other topics, and if I do venture out I will keep my mouth tightly shut with a strip of sellotape firmly over it.

Never have I seen such a lot of bunkem!!!

Have a nice day.

Question Author

Revised Statement.

I will be allowed to visit Animals and Nature, Home and Garden and Food and Drink.

If you spot me in any other section, you will be expected to come in and drag me away!!!

Well....keep me tied to you by a piece of short elastic then gesssoo !! I get fed up with it all ..have a few drinkie poos and mouth off !!!
It's all quite ridiculous ..what does annoy me is when you do offer someone any useful info some wag has to pop up behind you with an inane quip .Grrr.
Also these ink monitors get me down !!
Rant over ..it's very warm here today and keeps clouding over but no rain as yet .For my sins I fell asleep in the garden and now have arms and legs covered in lumpy itchy blisters .

oooh gessoo whatchoobindoin? I don't bother with so many categories now especially parenting.....strewth, they ask for help & when you give your opinion & they don't like it they get shirty. I think too many people on here seem to be looking for agreement rather than opinion. Factual answers are a bit easier....as long as you know the answer lol!

Jude the new thingy is happening sometime this week apparently...there'll be no bar over your answer to do bold/colours etc - you'll have to do them with tags which to a slow computer biddy like me is a nuisance.

yoohoo slack, you fell asleep outside?! it's cardies back on here.

wonder if this will work
or this
