gessoo before the lady next door passed away my neighbours used to go to Wells every year for their hols. Hope there are none of those terrible thong things down there on the beach...

Oh heck Vinny - hope that storm doesn't come this way, we don't want to be BogBiddies

haha

I've applied to Ed for a transfer to suggs for my garden.... I hope we don't have to dig it all up & move it ourselves a la Chelsea flower show.

......must remember to swap soft paper in lav for Izal before they arrive.....

hi Jude (I was distracted half way through my post & you sneaked in) - yes, been a lovely day. Can't help with the travels sorry.
Question Author
Sorry Robinia Lol at you bogbiddie. Called in Birds this afto nothing left hardly, ended up with a lemon danish.(not my favourite but ok) By the look of things we'll probably arriving in you garden about Saturday all being well!
Jude I once drove downt he Croation coast when it was Yugoslavia. Rugged and rocky - the only sandy beaches are deep in the south near Albania - but fine clear water, a bit chilly even in midsummer as I recall. (The air was hot, however.) I've been back since then to Dubrovnik - a simply wonderful experience, completely repaired after the civil wars - and Split. Also to Istria, the peninsula near Trieste, and stayed in Opatija, which feels vaguely Austrian, and Pula, more like Venice. Some beautiful islands too. Well worth a trip.

Evening folks...

top of the bill we've hit the bigtime....!!

road works ooh...somebodys told news at ten were moving hehe...!

Vinny rofl absolutely brilliant!!! :o)

Jno Thanks so much for the travel info. Must seriously look into it.

Hello shipmates - you ya all doing? Well you can tell the island is open to tourists again, I've been struck down with a cold now!!!! Was just getting over the "marathon" then wham sore throat, aching joints and here I am again. It always happens when tourists come over, we get the germs. Have big dinner to go to tomorrow so am dosing myself with anti-biotics ( I know they are not supposed to work with virus' but make me feel better.)

Be glad when we move to the Biddygardens, the constant moving of the boat , the fresh wind and the pirates aren't good for my health. Oh to roll on a nice fresh lawn.........................(oh to be able to roll at all!!!!)

hahahahahaha........absolutely brilliant Vinny, love it. I'm sitting by the open window & if my neighbour can hear me laughing he'll think I've got the milkman in here.

so sorry you're poorly again neti, don't worry old girl we'll soon have you up & running again (oh no, I didn't mean running)....

beautiful day again so far, I'd better start preparing the site, hope you've all got your camping stoves approved by health & safety.....well, you didn't expect me to be providing food did ya?

jude

Cheer up.

afternoon all..... oooh think there's a storm brewin'.

tut tut Jude we'll have non of that zooming round on my road ....anyway, I expect there'll be a bit of congestion when Vinny parks the Biddybus on the drive & everyody keeps driving round the block to admire it.

well the lovely Ed has very kindly moved the campsite to suggs - hope she didn't have to get the ground force team in. I've just been down to sort out your

washing facilities

don't worry - bit of Vim & they'll be like new.

Question Author

Lol Neti Actually it was a camera job. The last time I got stopped for speeding was in about 1965 and I had my nurses uniform on. That was a copper and he asked me if I was on my way home from the hospital and when I said yes he just let me off with a caution. Not a bad record really or is it just a matter of not getting caught. Anyway a lesson learned even at my age!

Can't see you in suggestions Robinia Help please!!

erm, don't panic Jude I've got a bit of tidying up to do before you pitch your tents see

..... didn't think you'd be in the best bit did you?

I think these decks need a bit of swabbing before we go ashore anyway .....better pay special attention to the winches and jib hanks...... Well, what did you think I was doing with that sailor?

Good job you've got airbags jude.hehe..!!.
