I have just spilled 28gr of size 9 seed beads all over my craft room.
Managed to get them onto a dust pan, how in heavens name can I get rid of the debris to retrieve the beads?
(animal hair, dust and the like)

Put them in a sieve and run them under a tap?
Question Author
I'll give that a go, ta.

OK, that's the fine dust and sand gone, (I didn't try the water - just the colander) now for the animal hair. :(
If you put them in a bowl of water, would the hair not float to the surface? Then you could drain off the water and retrieve the beads.
Question Author
Ok, putting the tweezers down and going for a bowl of water.
Thanks.

Ooo Tilly, thems fighting words !!
Phone Dyson and ask if he can come up with a bead separator accessory.....
I know. That was very rude of me. I am sorry, ferlew.
Harsh but fair, I would surmise, tills.......
As always, DTC, as always.
treat yourself to a Dyson hand held vaccum for pet hairs they are marvellous.

Giggling out loud at Tilly.
No offense taken.
I just thank goodness I don't have a carpet in here.
Got em all thanks.

DTC, I don't have a Dyson, however I do have a Kirby G7, on a long loan to son.
That actually DOES have a little chamber for gathering small objects.
Thanks ferlew. Whew!

Deesa, I do sweep through every day on my hard floors, and I do have a pet hair vac for my carpets.
I must say, going to hard floors in the heavy traffic areas, has been an eye opener. The amount of grit etc I get up daily, would be ruining a carpet I imagine. I think a lot of it is from the paved drive.
Anyway, it's easier to get a brush and pan out than a vac.
Got of light there, yilly lol.
I did, Yont. Thought I was in for a carpet beating.
