Get your camera out

A few years ago we chased all over an area of countryside about 20 miles from us as they'd been seen there, and didn't see any. A week later we were shopping at a small retail park and saw loads of them feeding on the Rowan berries which were planted there.

Beautiful birds ๐Ÿฆœ (yes I know that's a parrot๐Ÿ˜‰)

That's early,  hope it's a waxwing winter

How lovely.  Thank you Melv.

Have never seen a live waxwing, only photos.  Maybe a bit too far north for them - unless you know better?
