I just seen my first fieldfare and redwings in my local park.
Waxwings have also made an appearance in Shetland.

Great ! I love Autumn.

I thought I saw some redwings at the weekend, Melv, but Mr BM said it was too early!!!! But on a bird lover's page they have been spotted too.

Thanks for the heads up Melv, I'll keep an eye out for them, it dose seem a lot more autumnal now.

If you go outside at night you can hear them calling.
