FAO All Frankie's supporters. I've left a message on the original thread. He's snoring away in his basket just now. Love to everyone. Schutz.

Hi Honey. Well that was a surprise, either you are a tortoiseshell cat, or a dog, That's ok, because I like nice dogs, and I've never seen a tortoisehell cat with brown eyes, so I think you must be a dog. I have a dog-friend next door (on the opposite side to the kittens), he's a black labrador called Billy, and he likes me very much. I hope you have recovered from your hangover. I expect you'll be getting lots of fuss from the visitors over the next few days. I'll catch up with you perhaps about Tuesday. Take care and enjoy all the fuss. I'm off to bed again now. Love from Frankie the Cheshire Cat.
hi schutz and frankie hope you have had a good day ,bart was lisa's brother not issy's, did you notice how much like her mum issy is ,until she lost her leg you could not tell them apart from a distance, whendo you have to see the vet again?, big purrs from all of us xxx
Big Frankie you sound like you are slowly on the mend. Glad you enjoyed the sun. Our dog hates loud noises too - he was supposed to be trained as a gun dog but wasn't any good as he kept shaking so he came to live with us instead.

Catch up on your sleeping and hopefully you'll be out in the sun again over the weekend.xxx

Hi Ruth. Thanks, that solves the mystery, I didn't realise that Bart was Lisa's brother. Yes, Issy is the image of her mum, when I first saw her mum's photo, I thought it was Issy. Frankie sat in the front garden again for a few minutes this afternoon with the two kittens from next door. He's very wary, and shoots indoors at the slightest sound. I hope he gets his confidence back, He sees the vet again next Thursday. He' doing really well now apart from being a bit scared of noises. Love to you, Issy, Lisa and the gang, with lots of big purrs, cuddles, and mini strokes for the outside cats. xxxx Sheila.

Hi Cathy. Big Frankie here. I did like sitting in the sun in our front garden with next door's two kittens Berry and Milly. I didn't stay long as I heard a noise that I didn't like so came back in and went back to bed for a nooze. Perhaps if the sun shines tomorrow mum might let me out again for a while. Love to Jack and Little Frankie, from Big Frankie.

Hi Cathy, Sheila here. Did you see the special message I left for Jack from Big Frankie, if you missed it you'll need to go back a page to Wednesday's post the 6th, at 21.26. Hubby is watching football on TV, Frankie has already gone to bed, and I'm off next. Lots of love to Jack, Little Frankie, yourself, and of course the dog, (what's his name)? xxxx Sheila.

Cathy, What am I like, with talking about next door's kittens, Berry and Milly, I forgot to send love to your Milly.

So - Milly. Lots of love just for you from Big Frankie.
So glad to hear frankies getting even better in each passing day, what a brave boy, hope he's getting some more sun today, its horrible here, wind and rain with the odd burst of sun between cloud bursts, not the weather for a cat to enjoy.........Hi frankie its samuel peeps here, glad to hear my main man is on the mend, mums told me we look rather alike, could be twins ehh, i got a fright from a wood pigeon the other day, jumped onto the window ledge to look out and theres this big fat bird on the lawn sticking its tongue out at me....pah, it made me jump off and run off hissing, no didnt like that no sir, being rude to me like that... any way frankie me boy you carry on getting stronger and make your mum proud..xxxxxx

Hi Mary. Weather not too good here either. Early rain am, high winds, chllly, and not much sun. Not nice for me or the cats. :-) Good to 'hear' from you. Frankie is much better, still sleeping for England, eating well. Has been out, but is very nervous and only stays out a couple of minutes. Early days I suppose.
Hi Samuel Peeps. Those wood-pigeons are very rude to us cats. When I'm properly better I'll soon sort them out. You're a very handsome cat, just like me, perhaps we really are twins. I'm being very good and now eating my dinner all up, so I'll soon be a big strong cat again. Mum says I'm getting spoiled, but I think I deserve it, don't you.
Love to your mum, and a big mieow to you. =^.^= Frankie.
frankie are you and mum on facebook

Good morning Ruth. Unfortunately not on Facebook. Had been thinking about buying a digital camera, and learning how to put photos on here, as a start. But as things turned out with the big expense of Frankie's operation (643 so far), and the ongoing vets visits for him and Tansy (both on lifetime medication), my plan will have to be put on hold for a while, but I'll get round to it as soon as funds allow. Hope you have a nice day today. xxxx love Sheila and Frankie.
Afternoon Frankie, just thought I'd drop by and see how you're doing but your probably a-sittin' wi' da kittens, in the garden. Don't be talking to no garden gnomes now, you hear, they're a bit creepy don't you think?

Samuel Peeps you don't have to be afraid of pigeons, you're a cat you know and cats win over pigeons - or do they...

Hi Swedeheart. Frankie here. Thanks I'm doing pretty good now, vet doesn't want to see me till next Thursday. I've decided a few minutes outside is quite enough, there's too many funny noises, I think I'm safer in my bed. The black kitten came round for her midday meal today, so that was nice. I like the clip for Samuel Peeps. That pigeon wouldn't have escaped from me, or I suspect Samuel. But I'll have to get a bit stronger first. I would have given it a fright, at least. Hope you are having a good day. Love from Frankie.
Hi Schutzy. So pleased to hear that the vet was pleased with Frankie's progress and that he continues to recover well. He'll no doubt be up to mischief in no time at all, bless him!

Sorry to hear that Issy lost her leg ruthann. By the look of her picture it would seem she's not let it get the better of her.

Much love,

Aprilis xx
Hi Frankie and Sheila

Thanks for your messages. I had to read Jack's so many times ended up copying it and printing it out. Thank you so much he was so pleased, it was so kind. I thought I had replied but I've had so much trouble trying to post on this site last few days so sorry.

So glad Frankie is getting better, surprising what TLC and a bit of sun can do. Perhaps in time he will adjust to noises. It's horrible to think of the reason for his nervousness. Our Milly is teaching little Frankie to climb the stairs - she gets behind her and tries to push her up the stairs. It's funny to watch but am worried Frankie might fall so I'm not encouraging them too much.

Hi Aprilis. The site has been very problematic over the weekend, and up until tonight, so I haven't been able to post anything. Frankie is doing really well, and he's starting to look as if it won't be long before he'll be up to mischief again.

Isn't Ruthann's Issy lovely, I keep popping back to have another look at her, and the outside cats.

Thanks again for the message. Frankie is hiding at the moment, I don't think he wants me to give him his tablet. I'll have to go to look for him shortly, he'll probably be hiding under a duvet somewhere. :-) Much love. Sheila.
Question Author
Hi Cathy. I think everybody has been having problems trying to post on this site for the past few days. None of my answers were showing, but at last tonight it seems to be working ok again.

I'm so pleased that Jack liked his special message from Frankie. You can tell Jack that Frankie is still continuing to improve, and give him love from Frankie.

I'm still chuckling at Milly trying to teach Little Frankie how to climb the stairs, I'll bet it's a picture with Milly trying to push her. I expect Little Frankie will soon get the hang of it.

How old and what colour is Milly, and how old and what colour is Little Frankie?
Much love to all the family. xxxx Frankie and Sheila.
so glad frankie is still making good progress no doubt he will be up to no good soon bringing you a few presents indoors ,i love it when i go in the back porch without putting the light on and feel my foot on somthing it makes me cringe
Hi Schutzengel

Thanks I will tell Jack tomorrow. Frankie seems to be coming on well - really pleased for you both.

Little Frankie is about 17 weeks now and she's ginger and white and Milly is 3 and she's a tortoiseshell. I can't believe that someone wanted to put litle Frankie to sleep she's adorable.

Hi Ruth. :-) I can just imagine how you feel stepping on something in the dark, courtesy of you know who !!!
Thanks, Frankie is doing good now, vet tomorrow so perhaps he'll sign him off from this incident, but he'll still have to attend for the blood tests for his epilepsy, but he doesn't seem to mind too much about that. The strange thing is I think Frankie is normally too laid back to bother about catching anything, and has never brought any 'presents' home. Felix however, is quite a different matter, mice, shrews, and even an earthworm, Yuk !!! Love to yourself, Issy, Lisa, and the outside cats. with cuddles and hugs as appropriate. :-) Sheila
Question Author
Hi Cathy. Both cats sound absolutely lovely. I'm sure you mentioned why someone wanted to put Little Frankie to sleep, and I've been searching for the message without any success. I'm so pleased she's safe and loved at your home, and she has Milly to play with. How does she get on with your dog (what kind of dog, what name, what colour, and how old), yes I'm nosey, but I love to be able to imagine them. I have a very vivid imagination and enjoy thinking about your animals in pictures in my mind. :-) Frankie is off to the vet again tomorrow, so you can tell Jack that Frankie says he'll soon be as good as new. Off to bed soon, so night, night for now. Much love to Jack, Milly, Little Frankie, the dog, hubby, and yourself. Hope I haven't missed anybody out. xxxx Sheila.
