Although the USA has the most occurance of tornadoes, the most tornado-prone region of the world, as measured by number of tornadoes per unit area, is the UK. Has anyone in the UK actually seen one?

I have but I was in Majorca at the time. Suppose that doesn't count then?
ive seen 2 funnel clouds
There was one over Corfe Mullen a few years back. Michael Fish mentioned it on the weather, so probably means it wasnt!

I think there may be a photo of it

a water spout outside Wymouth Harbour

and I thought Lyme bay was the most water-spout prone - I mean God you have to live to about 120 before you see one.

Does anyone know anything onhow animals geteffected to tornadoes?
