I have 2 males cats from the same litter who are 1 years old, one has nipples and ive been told he is a tom cat (but need confirmation first) the other just a normal male cat.
They both are showing disturbing behaviour, biting the back of the other ones neck and holding it down, as if it was trying to hump it..obviously neither likes being held down so they both fight after the other one has got free..They arent neutuered yet but dont spray anywhere in the house.

Any ideas on why this is happening?

Hi Miss

All male cats are called 'Tom' Cats, and all female cats are called 'She' cats. So you have two tom cats and they should both have nipplies. Both sexes have nipples just like we do.

It is not disturbing behaviour. It is simply that they have reached sexual maturity and want to mate. They will try to hump each other and will become aggressive. This normal behaviour in tomcats that have not been neutered. The normal age to neuter a tomcat is six months old. You need to get this done as soon as possible. Otherwise this behaviour will continue, and get worse.

So off to the vets with you!

Yes off the vets for me then!
thank you very much for ur input :)
I thought female cats were called queens!
Females who are pregnant or nursing are called queens. I agree with lottie - it's typical male behaviour and should settle when they have been "done".
