I have 6 cats, 3 male and 3 female, Kacey, our youngest female (9 months) has taken a fancy to our oldest male Smokie (2.5 years).
The last couple of days she has been following him round and constantly talking/meowing/yodelling at him. Smokie has been done and isnt to happy about the attention he is getting and keeps smacking her.
It just seems abt strange as i thought the male cats did the chasing??

has she been 'done' as well? as often female cats will 'call' which is basically what they do when they're in season. i'm not sure why, but my fiance breeds cats and going round his when then females are calling is a noisy business!
has she been spayed yet? If not then she should be spayed asap. If she is spayed and your male has already been done then there are no worries of fur babies. If she's spayed(doesn't sound it though) then she just maybe a very friendly girl. If not spayed get her done right away as if she is in heat she will try her best to get out to an unfixed male or she will attract neighborhood unfixed males to your home.(do i get point for using the word spayed so many times?lol!)
