She is almost 8 weeks old, but I have only just got her today from a friend. How long should I keep her inside before letting her venture out into out back garden? Also, is feeding her 4 times a day approx good? Thanks xx

should help you out a lot, i allways kept my kittens in for at least 3-4 weeks, moving the litter tray nearer and nearer to the back door, then putting it outside in the day & bringing it back in at night, when kitten does eventually venture out put a dab of butter on her paws each time & she will be able to smell & find her way back, good luck give her lots of love and remember you are her mum now ! :-)
