An old person and a dog, a winner .

it's not just Xmas people are lonely .

depressing advert ,i haven't seen one i like yet x

Thank you for sharing Buenchico.

That was lovely 🤗

Ta Buenchico 😊

Hubby showed  me this morning and it made me cry.  I'm not a Cryer usually.

But dogs definitely help the elderly in some way.  And it shows too that a lot of the younger generation are wonderful.

I like the ad - if only more people spread happiness.

Lovely advert thanks Buenchico

Christmas is the most depressing time of the year for so many.  Our popular town hotel/pub does a free  Christmas Dinner, open to all lonely people.  But they obviously have to  book Not just the elderly.  And they provide entertainment.  In fact in our little local town it would be difficult to be lonely.  People are so friendly.

It's a wonderful ad because it makes you stop and think.  I love it.

Sentimental claptrap.

A much more likely scenario - Having inveigled enough info out of the old guy, the couple then went off and robbed his bank account of all his savings.

Signed, a cynical realist.

It is lovely. Have seen it somewhere but it cut off before the couple joined the elderly man. The dog knows how to pick friends.

Love the video but not the music. Who is that?

Not round here Canary!

The three people in the advert are all regulars at the pub - we have similar groups across ages/sexes/nationalities in our local bar - it's the hub of the village and far more important than people from less well integrated places can ever imagine.

The song is "People Help the People" by the English singer Birdy.

I'm with Canary42 on this. BA.

Too corny for me, Anyway I grew out of Xmas years ago, it's just another commercial excuse!

Why are we supposed to be nice only during Xmas ? What a load of bol-ox

Sad and miserable ad.

Thanks Jim.

It only took £700 to make, the John Lewis one took a million apparently!
