As a last stand move by Boris,he want's to install "Lord Hogan-Howe"
a good friend of his, into one of the most prestigious positions in the UK
.....".Head of the National Crime Agency," with a salary of £223,000 P/A.
Get rid of Boris now before he can fill the H.O.L and other lucrative positions with his cronies .

My apologies to Prudie for this post.
The Head of the National Crime Agency is not an House of Lords role.

Do you have a link? I am not sure what you are on about.

Gromit at 11 .10 I never said it was.
......"I am not sure what you are on about"?
I am on about Boris trying to give one of his Cronies a well paid position before he Abdicates, its all in the O/P.
I've no idea what this is about either. Graeme Biggar was appointed to the role in October 2021.

11.14 "We discussed this in February"
We are discussing it again in July ,
is there a problem.??

Gully @ 11:27

I think the point is that if this was being discussed in February, it isn't a case of it being "a last stand move" as you called it.
Gulliver, if you are unable to post links perhaps you would be courteous enough to tell us where you're reading all the stuff you post. At least then someone else can look it up and post a link for you. As it is much of the time no one has the foggiest idea what you're talking about.
A replacement for Boris will be appointed on 5th September. Until then, Parliament is on summer recess. This has been on consideration since February, if not before. Johnson has shown no urgency to do this in the last 6 months. So no appointment will be made.

Why are you unable to post links? It is just copy and paste.
Thanks jno.
'Reports' and 'sources' - that's helpful - and he can't do it anyway - even if he wanted to. Nothing to talk about then.
