:Proof of this please?
Dominic says it so it must be true . . .
An allegation by Cummings which has been denied.Another case of sour grapes from Cummings.
I wouldn't believe anything that Cummings says.He is a mischief maker full of sour grapes.

// gully ♥ Boris// - foo yeah den, end of !

I cd credit - House of Lordy lordy so long as you shut the crap up !

they did it for speaker martin .... to avoid would you believe voting the corrupt old bagga out !
dannyk, while it would be idle to claim Cummings always told the truth, it's the same for the prime minster. So I don't think it's wise to refuse to believe anything he says: one of them must be lying but it's not always going to be the same one.

The notion of a PM making his adviser a peer isn't inherently incredible.
2 people. One has more to lose than the other. Is a peerage ( hush money ) ?
Johnson gave a Peerage to that other Brexit advisor, Lord Frost.
Bottler gave a peerage to the prince of darkness for no reason that anyone can discern, what's your point gully?
Do we know if Cummings refused the offer, or if Johnson reneged ?
He said of Mr Johnson’s peerage offer: “He said it but then he almost immediately started laughing and realised that that was not exactly the sort of thing that would buy me off. All reports about me getting big payoffs are all false.”

He recounted an alleged conversation he had with Mr Johnson before his Downing Street departure where the Prime Minister floated giving his other half a new role ....

On Carrie: Mr Johnson is quoted saying: “Omigod, you’re right, she’s driving me crackers. We’ve got to find her a job with lots of foreign travel. Could we get the Cabinet Secretary to give her a job on COP26, travelling round with Kate Middleton?”

All stoutly denied, of course.

While Cummings’ mutterings are entertaining, I am unsure what his strategy is, or his endgame?

Is the constant drip feed intended to undermine Johnson and hasten his successor?
He is burning a lot of bridges, I wonder where he will end up?
PM elevates people to the HofL shocker - that’s never happened before (although in the case that will obviously never happen now).

Move along - nothing to see here.
on the contrary, a great deal to see and enjoy.
// Do we know if Cummings refused the offer, or if Johnson reneged ?//

no I think he revoked the offer as soon as he made it

renege - after someone has accepted and the offeror says oops no thanks actually
