Is it safe to leave a guinea pig with small chickens? It would be nice for the piggy to spend all day outside. If not safe is there anyway of integrating it slowly?

Here's some information. Notice also what it says about pecking order amongst chickens ...

No. Guinea pigs will eat chicken poo and this is not good for them. Also the chickens might attack the guinea pig. The guinea pig could also escape. They need to be with other guinea pigs

Shame really it's rescue piggy and spends all day every day alone. Maybe I should make him a little den of his own outside for the summer
Or get him another g.pig pal.

Yeah its an idea but he is quite old now and they live so long lol. We take him out a few times a week and let him wonder the garden. I do feel sorry for him and there were so. Small piggies in the shop. But we have 5 chucks now I dont want to over extend myself you see.
I agree with ummm who on your other thread said "You shouldn't have animals, you're clueless."

Keeping a guinea pig on its own just for your own self-indulgence. Find it a home with other guineas and give it away.
I think this is another wind-up
^ You're probably right.

I'm prepared to take photos with dates next to the animals but how to upload to the site?

CANARY this is a friends who moved abroad. I never wanted a guinea pig. And by the way you are saying for my own self indulgence etc. I bet you are indeed a meat eater and 'indulge' frequently and that certain indulgence comes at a life devastating cost for some tiny souls.

I took the piggy as he was going to let it roam free I bought the chucks because I want to feel more at one with nature. Sure I chose ornamental chickens but we have lots of kids visiting so picked the cute ones and paid a heavy price too.

When a person eats a chicken sandwich well..... they don't need to eat it as their are delicious alternatives that also contain the right vitamins.... so they litterally are indulging themselves as they are only doing it for taste and disregarding the awful pain, death and torture that goes along with that chicken sandwich.

So is it possible if you elaborate on how I am being self indulgent because I like many dont want to by a hypocrite. I am not angry by the way I just want to break down what you say as I feel we could both learn something from this.

There, also sorry about the other mistakes I'm quite bad. I blame the age
Why do you continually harp on about being vegan when people reply to your posts out of concern about what you are saying about your animals. People can have pets or work with them without being vegan.
so hitting chickens makes you feel one with nature? ooooooookaaaaaay
"I`m prepared to take photos with dates next to the animals" Yeah right!

Just tell me how to upload to the site I will take one as soon as its light. There is no attach button.

Tonight I had a HUUUUUGE break through. The big white one ,Lilley or queen B was perching on the bridge just now so I took the chance and stroked her for the 1st time and she loved it. Even the evil brown one came over and I stroked her a bit. So now I just need to stroke the black one. I feel so lucky now even the boss likes a nice massage lol. Chickens are so cool.
I don't want to encourage squabbling here but, purely for reference, the way that people display photos here is to upload them to an image-hosting site (with this one being the most popular https://imgbb.com/ ), copy the link that's generated by doing so and then paste the link into a post here, preferably putting it on a separate line to all other text.

However guinea pigs are essentially social animals, so they need company, but the only company that's of any value to a guinea pig is another guinea pig. At best, chickens will be ignored. At worst, they'll be seen as a threat (or they might actually be one).

Awesome I will get some photos on in the morning. Does anyone want their username specifically on the paper next to the chickens so you can see I'm not lying?
