Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. Winter has arrived with a vengeance! I still have some shoplifting to do though. I'll be back to my cosy nest soonest though! One of the wheelie bins is full of water where the top got blown open during the storm. How I'm going to deal with that I have no idea, It now weighs somewhere in the region of two tons! I might have to drill a hole in the side near the bottom. The only thing I can think of. Apart from that, all is fine!
How have you all fared?

a wet day in prospect here....feeling like 1°C - my wood stove has stayed in overnight and is now kicking up.

The weather was making such a row I got up at 0115! I haven't looked out the back yet!

White stuff predicted here, last time I saw barometer so low was when Micheal Fish said there was nothing to worry about !!!

My barometer is down too. We can't complain, the last few winters haven't been this bad.

The heating is going full belt and about holding it's own.

I haven't got to that extreme down here, one radiator on at half power, the storage heater just kicking in upstairs and the wood burner happily purring now. The ash tray will need emptying at some point but not now!

Eventually got Jens toe redressed yesterday medic that came out was really good and is coming tomorrow to redo. He said our local hospital is more concerned about covid, but there are other sick people aswell.
