Is Over 60 Too Old To Be Trusted?
32 Answers
This morning I placed an order online for some athlete's foot cream and had to sign a disclaimer to say I was over 18 - order accepted and confirmed by email, followed shortly by another email telling me they have had to cancel and refund as they are not allowed to sell it to anyone over 60!

At your age, they probably think you'll confuse it with your toothpaste, Lankers. You know it makes sense ;o)

This has been going on for years.
This reply is regarding thrust treatment but gives a clue.
//unfortunately it's not licensed for sale to anyone over the age of 60. All medicines behind the counter have a license and cannot be sold for other uses. Some have age limits on them such as children's chesty cough medicine because of the active ingredient. I believe the reason it cannot be supplied to someone over the age of 60 is because it is less likely you will suffer from thrush and there may be another reason as to why you are suffering with the symptoms. Massive pain for all involved.//

Timewarp and thrusts spring to mind.
Was seeing my GP just before xmas, student gp attending, student wanted to prescribe something (sorry, forgotten what - painkiller I think) GP said no as I'm close to 60 (sob) and apparently kidney problems are the first to show in over-60's on various types of medications.
