Approx 2pm . This year DD is doing all the work so for us a short amble up the farm track to the main house for Confit of Goose, then a longer stagger back around 10 pm. No small kids no cantankerous old relatives...Bliss.

Gorgeous blue-sky day here. Just finished the Private Eye Christmas crossword and am about to set off on a long walk to a neighbouring village to post it. Then dinner and a slob-out in front of the box - and Uni Challenge, of course.

No turkey...not even a roast dinner. DD and I have a Mediterranean feast...lots of cheeses, salami and Parma ham, bread, pate, olives, etc. We both like to graze.
