neti they are small pumpkins, squash actually, about the size of a yellow melon and they hang.

dammit!
that one is last years
another gorgeous day. I should go down to Carnival but the sound systems are all too loud for me. I liked the old days when it was just steel bands ... and before that it was pan pipes and farm girls dancing in the meadows with the sheep.
warm and humid here again and the boiler has stopped producing hot water. Am waiting for a nice man from the gas board to come and tell me that the boiler has died and I will need to sell a kidney to afford a new one.
oh, that's wonderful news. Can you hang on until the temperature plummets to zero?
yes..it could be worse I suppose....except that I understand that all new boilers need to be connected to drainage and mine is in a corner of the kitchen with no drains and no drains outside....and I really don't want a new kitchen.....
oh, arrrgh, that's awkward. We had to get ours all rearranged last year since you can no longer have gas pipes under the house... I suppose it must be conencted to drains somewhere, presumably the ones its predecessor used.
well the good news is its fixable :) so I am going to do a Scarlett O'Hara and think about it another day.
another sweltering day today. I am orff to the Baltics on Thursday and I may be some time.
blessedly cool here today. I am thinking i will just flop
Hello i have finally managed to get in! What's going on? I only have half a page on my mobile phone but better than nothing!
Had a dreadful 24 hr storm here yesterday , just went on and on so no tv. Feral cat was upset so I made her a cosy dry bed on patio and fed her and she settled. She won't come indoors. The thunder was constant, never heard it like that. Of course all roads impassible and loo paper, rats and poo in the streets. Luckily we live on a hill with no real roads so were ok. Mr N made a roast lamb dinner as was chilly. Today it's lovely and although hot not sweaty at all. Ive washed all outside swim things and unbattened my lilo and swim ring. Had to let excess water out of pool.
it wasn't as cool here all day as was forecast but its cooling down again now which is lovely. Once Ocado have delivered I will shower and loll
I can't access AB on mobile again!
Just had another roast lamb dinner as I enjoyed the last one so much. Haven't been eating much lately as it's been too hot and the good thing is I've lost a good amount of weight! But it'll return!
a more balanced day here today sunny but cooler and less humid. Sadly the screaming kids are about...I suspect its grandparents doing summer holiday sitting so hopefully quieter next week
Quite a pleasant day. I went out for coffee and left Mr N French polishing my precious g-plan coffee table that my mum bought for us in 1979 in Truro. Damn mossies are out in full force and this evening my legs have been bitten 5 times in an hour!
Hope all is well with you all.
its been a better year for mozzies this year...I mean better for the humans, not the mozzies, and its much cooler here tonight which is lovely.
