oh forsooth I am going to the dentist tomorrow to have a tooth out but now I find the bridge of implants on the other side of my mouth is wobbling (shows I am a true Londoner, I suppose, my own wobbly bridge). I'm hoping the dentist will be able to tighten it all up, but it may need the implant man and goodness knows when I'll track him down.

If it was a real tooth I'd have said it would last as long as my next meal but hopefully implants are a bit more firmly rooted. Oh, teeth.

Glorious sunny day here but a bit chilly.We spent some of our lottery winnings on taxis to the seafront and back where I sat in the lovely fresh air while Mr S,who can't sit still, walked along the front a bit and then we had fish and ships in the cafe.Very nice.
Crikey Jno .I hope they can sort these wobbly teeth problems for you once and for all.It must be a pain in the wallet.

implants should be better rooted than our own teeth so I will hold my fingers crossed for you. We are having a quiet sunday here, tis sunny but very cold.

oh phooey, now I have a cold, so unless the First Defence sorts it out overnight I probably won't be going near a dentist anyway, I can just have my teeth fall out at home.

Morning all. Hiya flew in last night for a very quick visit (blood and pee tests). I love with a permanently streaming nose and eye . And sniffing!!
This Brexit is ridiculous the way it is affecting us abroad. We will have to apply now for a TIE card if we become non EU members. Which puts us in a third world country class!! Its hardly going to affect the UK but boy will we suffer. I know we are as legal as can be but it's all very worrying. There ate going to be a lit of expat returning to UK and draining the system and all the overseas workers who do contribute will be leaving! What a mess.

Oh Shaney yes indeed. Now Pension office is not giving out anymore S1 certificates for expat pensioners health care abroad, first it's ok, now it isn't. Spanish police stations have stopped and more 'resident' applications as the are inundated . I'm sure we are ok but no ones knows, same as Mr S!

Morning all. Hija flew in and out again, will do the same next week!
Lovely sunny day but a chill breeze. Spring clothes on and no sweater!!
Got my blood and Lee results back. Everything absolutely perfect! Even manky kidney is up and running again at fill speed. I was amazed and had to check they were my results! O admitted that I eat sweets and biscuits and she said not ideal but isn't harming me.
My one bottom chewing molar is hurting so much all along the jaw. I can't do anything as I need it to eat. I have others but they don't connect with other teeth. What a mess. I hasten to add that I look ok and nothing Jeremy Kyle about me.
Hope you are all ok. Where is jno at the moment? Bad as they are I may need to borrow the teeth !!

Dr Implant has screwed my teeth back in, travelling osteopath has had a go at sorting out my aching neck but I don't think it's worked. Plus I went for a stroll among the cherry blossom of London - there's a lot of it this year, I don't know if the mild winter encourages it. Lots of non-cherry blossom too. For a month or so each year London is very pretty.

ok. as part of the sort out, as I bagged stuff up, I removed and disposed of all the rubbish....so how is it, as I have been unpacking today I have filled 2 bin bags?

It's been a nice day here,quite warm.Hope it's been nice for the rest of you.
Pleased to hear your gnashers are in working order again Jno and that you are fit and well Neti after your test results.
I had wobbly tooth a while back.It came out on it's own eventually but it's at the back so I'm not too worried about it as long as I can eat.

jno jnr rang up with Mother's Day wishes and also to delicately mention that the clocks had gone forward. Just as well, since we'd both forgotten - we're going to lunch and it would have been embarrassing to have arrived at 2pm by mistake.

A son who remembers his parents' dementia, now isn't that nice.

very handy Jno! I laid flotex floor covering in my small kitchen yesterday, single handed, it took me half a day done in bursts. I didn't float the floor or glue it down so it won't last as long as a proper job but I did it myself for the price of the flotex in half a day and a real floor person quoted me around 1000 quid to do it, lifting the existing tiled floor, floating and levelling and then gluing down the flotex, about a day and a half's work. Went to bed aching all over last night but up this morning with no after effects so I must be fitter than I thought.
