Morning Sweetpea and Boaty - bit later than anticipated this morning. Was hoping to be in an hour ago but forgot to reset my alarm - doh! Bit of drizzle last night but dry at the moment here in NW Wales. No flame haired beauty , yet, I notice - pity - I was hoping to maybe take up where I left off yesterday when I was swimming over to Ireland to escape the clutches of Alba who was after my muffins!!!

The smell (or should that be scent) of fresh bread wafting around ....yummy.
Must get back to making my own. The first loaf I made last year lasted about 2 hours. Bunch of greedy so-and-so's :-)

I have never made bread, perhaps i should give it a go, especially after watching the hairy bikers do their stuff, and the breads they have come across europe. Always love the smell of freshly baked bread, that white pap that passes for bread in the supermarket is a waste of money

Morning all. Still in my bed, a tad early to get up. Seems to be getting a little windy outside. Not cold though, so,that's all right then!

You're right em. I never buy bread in a supermarket. It's good fun making your own and it's not difficult. It takes a bit of time though, but I enjoy making my own.

I invested in a bread-maker last year as the joints ain't what they used to be.

I have one as well alba. I use it a lot, but when I have the time I make it the 'proper' way! :o}
