Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Good morning everyone, nice and early with the 'first-of-everything' page and after something of a shaky start, things kicked along nicely with only a few hicccups on the way !!

And while a number of familiar faces are missing, presumed still on holiday/suffering from overindulgence/temporarily stuck in a snowdrift, it's good to see most of you back and in good form !!

Kate had a little fun with us this weekend as most of the link words had any number of possibles, one of which we did not predict -

There's been a very good start to the month however, so I'll do a quick wrap up, and then follow with a Leader Board - as always, we reconvene next Saturday, same time, same place for the second of what will be a 5 week contest, so plenty of time for us to catch the leaders ...

In today's Herculis Crossword, the clue numbered 16 down is for 13 Down, the clue numbered 17 down is for 16 down, and there is no clue for 17 down, but only the word "ambition" fits there !!!
