Everytime my period is due I either get a mild headache lasting up to 2 or 3 days that just wont go away or I get a massive banging migraine on the first day of my period. I have heard evening primrose oil can help this but my mate says it only helps with the breast pain some women get. Has anyone tried it to prevent the headaches and does it work? Or does anyone know anything else I can take to prevent it? It really does my head in and makes me feel so crappy :(

its crap innit 4get? I take paracetamol and ibuprofen usually but my daughter nicked my ibuprofen and never replaced them :( But even though I take the tablets it doesnt make the headache go away just eases it for an hour or so :(

I know there are tablets you can take to prevent normal migraine cos my daughter was on them when she was about 12 but they caused terrible mood swings so I really dont wanna take owt like that :(
I went to docs about it but he said I will get them, great help. I also get pain in my shoulder from swollen ovaries which is worse than the migraine sometimes

thats weird 4get, something I have never heard of before. I have a bad shoulder/neck from an accident years ago and when its playing up it always gives me a bad headache so I sympathise with you on that :(
its a sharp pain. I thought it was strange too but apparently when women have eptopic pregnancies a pain in shoulder is one of the syptoms
