flies- WHY?

why is it that everytime you're out enjoying a walk the flies appear and spoil it? they're bloody annoying but what do they gain from it.or is it,as i suspect they do it 'cause they're little *****.

Well in the whole scheme of things I suspect flies have done far less harm to this planet than we humans have.

Maybe the flies should be complaining that WE spoil their world.

There' s a silmple remedy to this problem. Merely go to Scotland for a week or so in mid summer and experience the midges. When you get home, the flies won't seem a problem at all.

scottish born and bred so i agree with you foxybox.those ARE little *******. next walk, i'll take the wife and hang bits of food from her. maybe that'll keep the flies off me.
