morning, Wednesday midweek already, i hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a good one, do you have anything planned for today? A friend is going to phone me later to see if we can meet for a coffee.
Todays forecast for the capital is a high of 18c, still cool for this time of the year, with light showers.

Hmm, maybe I could have phrased that better.

I've been raking leaves for ever, or so it seems.
I find it slightly therapeutic so that's a plus.

how are you doing, apart from sweeping up the leaves.

I'm plodding along nicely thanks.
Winter is approaching rapidly.
Time to raid the wardrobe, find the clothing I haven't worn for a long time.
Hope the moths haven't discovered it.

i keep on finding tiny moths flitting around the place. They don't seem to do any damage, but are a pest.

what's on tonight's menu, anything exotic, or a heat and eat meal.
i have tomato and mozzarella pasta, which i haven't tried before, so i am looking forward to it.

Good morning, you two. Today I have to go to the optometrist to get an ingrowing eyelash removed...I's quite annoying. While I'm out I might as well swing around to the beer store. It hit 30 today, and at about midnight it's still 22. 1ozzy, in about 20 days time your daylight will start to get longer. Alas, ours starts to get shorter.

Tonight I'm serving up Beef Wellington with a variety of baked root veg and cauliflower/broccoli cheesy, saucy bake.
One tray, one casserole dish, all in the oven.
Easy as pie!!

Well, actually easier ;-)

our longest day will be 21st June the summer solstice from then on the days get shorter but it will be many months down the line, i enjoy these long days, though the weather could do with improving.

that sounds nice 1ozzy, perhaps you could come and cook for me, i could do with some help round the kitchen.

You would have to clean the kitchen afterwards Em.
A massive task when I've been destructive in there.

no chance, i have yet to clean the kitchen particularly the gas hob, i must get around to it soon, as it's a health hazard.
