So sorry to hear that Jasmin, I truly do feel your pain. That said there is little I can do to heal it, it sounds crass but it does ease in time.
My thoughts and love are with you.

Run free beautiful boy

Jasmin,My heart go's out to you!!

This is the type of dog that I like to keep, I had 4 of them.
Probably too raw now, but I'm you could provide a home for another sometime soon.
best wishes - Chip
So sorry Jasmin. Lots of us here have been through it, and its never easy. Try and remember the good times you had together. x
The missing word was 'sure'
Google the poem 'The Rainbow Bridge' it helps x
Another post about a pet, they really do mean the world to us dont they?
Very sorry to hear this. Please forgive my ignorance GSD (German sheppard??)

Only people who have lost their pets can possibly understand how you feel. Personally, I'll never forget any of mine but have found the only way to ease the pain is to get a new friend that needs care and love. There's a dog out there waiting for you to give it a home. He doesn't want to replace your other dogs, just be a part of your life now and in the future. I'm thinking about you. Good luck x

Thank you for all your kind words , they did mean the world to me jd, and yes both were German Shepherds x
Bit late, but you have my sympathy, too. It doesn't matter whether you have one dog or many, the loss of one always hits you. What to do now?Light a candle at home for the lost ones (I did this every day for years after I lost my two favourites)? The best answer is to take a deep breath and look for a new little one, or even two. With GSDs, it might not be a great idea to have two from the same litter or of the same age; I can guarantee that they'll be four times as difficult than one is; but having one and then another at about 6 months will work easily.

Good luck!
I'm so sorry, I lost my cat recently, it's just heartbreaking as it's losing a member of the family/best friend x
Sorry to hear that Jasmin. Been through it myself with my cats and it doesn't get any easier. My thoughts are with you x
It is an awful heart wrenching pain when we lose them.....thinking of you xx
sorry to hear your news jamin, they do leave a big hole in your heart and house when you lose a fuurry friend
So sorry for your loss. Think of the pair of them playing together in doggy heaven. Big hugs. cupid04. xx
A big part of your life has gone, so its understandable that you are finding it hard to come to terms with. We spend more time with our dogs than with most people. However you did the right thing for him, and he will have loved you for that. Smile when you think of him and all the wonderful memories he has left you with.
Evertime I've lost one of my dogs, I've said , 'No more, I can't bear the pain of losing them.'
However, there's such a big hole to fill that I've eventually had to get another dog. You will find another one to love, if you want to. More importantly, it will love you back.

I will never say never again to getting another one but at the moment I couldn't even begin to think about it. There was 6 months difference in ages and never a scrap of bother, they were a pleasure to have and brought so much happiness and laughter in to the house it just seems to quiet and flat in here without them x
