Our dear puss No 1 Son had a growth on his back which was removed last week - the vet has just phoned to say that it was benign, all removed, and all OK. Breathe easy again....
Bless you both, no sign of No. 2 but the vet hasn't given up hope that he'll come back - just hope he keeps well enough to make it back. Some people have said he'll still be round where he got lost, but that's not possible - if anything he's in the nearby housing estate, scrounging off some other cat-household.. I hope so.
Yes euphemia - I have quite a long thread on that but I won't go over it all again, he escaped 3 miles from home, two weeks ago.
No, we have the three, Black Spot is the youngest, he's 8.
Good question wolf - wouldnt surprise me if Boxie has more.....these cat lovers....
My mother had 8 at one time - every time one of the kids left home we got replaced by a dog and two cats. She did live in a rural area though so plenty of space.
Glad No,1 cat is all right. As for No. 2 Cat, why did you call him Rover. With a name like that he is bound to roam. Hope he finds his way home. Mostly they have a great homing instinct.
Euphemia, I've just realised I misread your "is he missing No 2 cat" - no, No1 is not missing him at all, he's delighted, Rover plagues him all the time. It's very peaceful in our house at the moment....
Starby, he's Rover to us because he came to us having strayed for a considerable time before he found us. Shades of "Wild Rover" or "Gypsy Rover"!
