Why don't Louise and Jamie Redknapp ever pronounce the "t" in "it" in the Thomas Cook ad. I find IT most annoying!

I can't remember it exactly tigger but there is this man practically drooling and saying he wants to plunge his sunbaked body into the cool water and watch the stars appearing in the heavens (or something like that) He doesn't want to spend time planning it. It puts me off holidays abroad.

the advery that really gets up my nose now, cus its been on so much, is the match.com(?) one where a boy and girl alternately sing lines, making up their own song, starting off with 'i like old movies'......

I have to confess that I rarely look at the adverts, on the few occasions I watch the commercial channels, that's when I get up and go and do something else.

I think its to do with the fact that they emphasise the "IT" bit in the advert and to not pronounce the T when doing so I find annoying. Oh well each to their own I guess.

It's a fairly new one tigger, but irritating me already. I expect it will get round to you soon.

I think its just their 'common' London accents - its not deliberate, but I don't pronounce the 't' in it, out or any other words that end in t. I always think that in Eastenders when they do pronounce it you can tell they are not real Londoners.
Also when they say the word 'you' - plucking an example out of the air - 'he's out to get you' would be said 'e's ourta getcha' or get yer not 'get you'.

It is definitely John Hannah on the Co-op ads.
The one that really winds me up just now is for sennakot or something similar and has some twee woman singing 'feel happy inside' at the end. Ok, you've lost your job, your wife has left you and your home is about to be repossessed, but you've just had a dump so everything is alright. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
