Brilliant indeed....but...but...guess who will be prosecuted for dumping rubbish. I do not need to tell you. Parkyn? Parkyn....hmmm has he gone travelling? His "girlfriend" says he no longer lives there.
Good on him. He was only doing the decent thing by returning the guy's property which had accidentally been left on his land.

No doubt charged for something silly, hope it goes to a jury and they find him innocent.

I’d love to know what his reaction was. :))
So would I, Chrissa.... :-)

The car park I used in Kettering was beside the office where undelivered parcels were picked up. So many folk unwrapped their parcel as they left and threw away the usually grey plastic wrapping with their name and address on. I would collect it, pop it in an envelope and send it to them without a stamp.

I would suggest that the landowner has an excellent case for his defence - he was simply returning property to its rightful owner, having given him the option of collecting his property for himself and deciding not to do so.
chriisa, I bet some of it was anglo-saxon :-)))

gness, oooh, that's sweet. x

I used to occasionally pick up rubbish that somehad dropped and loudly call to them that they had dropped something. They, I hope, were to embarrassed to do anything but take it back.
That is just brilliant. Wonder how long it will be before Mr Parkyn shows his face again in the neighbourhood?
Superb
Well done Stuart!

I have been known to throw things back in through open car windows.
Very good. Just action.
I read this with glee, hate fly tipping with a vengeance. I could imagine the fly tipper hiding behind the settee, afraid to come out !!

Ditto, Togo.
Two wrongs don't make a right. Think of the poor innocent neighbours. He should have taken the photographic evidence to the Police and let them deal with it.
Utterly deserved revenge. Nicely done.
Polly, they stated in the article that they made sure no damage was done in returning the tires. I'm sure they ensured the neighbours never recieved any of the payload.
The Police won't take action regarding fly tipping on private land.
And what if he no longer lives there?
I imagine Stuart has considered he may pay dearly for his retaliation, perhaps he thought it worth it.
As a farmer he should have added a little ‘fragrant’ silage
