N/Kent, it's bright here but not really sunny and it's not that warm either atm

What's the odds that in a few weeks time we'll be complaining of the heat? :-D
snow for easter :-)
Yep, it is a glorious 19C and I have an army of guys digging up the road nearby and installing a new water main.

I'd like to sit in the garden but the beep from their bleeping diggers is too distracting not to mention the pneumatic drills etc :-(

Oh and it is going to last four months :-(

Enjoy the sunshine Alba!
It's out here....but I want bluer skies...it's a bit cloudy. Essex coast.

Weather forecast for most of England tomorrow is supposed to be nice, but it's back to rain for the west of Scotland.
It's warmer outside than it is in the house.
Question Author
ummm, my inlaws last house was like that, it was great when we had really hot summers and we'd vanish into the coolness of the house.

It's supposed to soar all the way up to 14 this afternoon from its present 4 in the Toronto area. Soon time to put the parkas to bed for a few months...I hope.

If it snows in June, I'm going to emigrate to Greenland, they know what to do with the stuff (as do other countries)
You really shouldn't have moved upnorth, baldric ;-)
Just been out to walk the grounds and can report that spring has definitely sprung, plants are coming through, maples are leafing out nicely and there's a few jobs in need of doing.
Time for a cup of tea I think and to ponder which job I should actually do first, tomorrow that is! ;-)
Lovely warm and sunny day in Seaham, done some gardening , mr catspaw done some painting, made the shingles feel a lot better.
Question Author
Frank, the first job to do tomorrow is another survey of the grounds, just to make sure.
Have yet another cuppa and then decide whether to upset nature by cutting grass or arguing with any dandylines :-D
Question Author
Cats, I've been following your thread about shingles.
Nasty, nasty thing. (well, I'm sure it's you and not another poster!)
I do hope you feel much better very soon x
