Morning all from a very blustery, albeit dry for now, NW Wales. Torrential downpours last night between 7 and 9 left our road looking more like a river - must have a word with my FIL to see how the ark is coming along!

Some of our empty shops have colourful 'posters' suggesting what the shops could be used for, funnily enough, they were used for those reasons before the out of town places sprung up and those same shops moved out of town.

I know it's not going to happen but I would like to see the High Street how it used to be back in the 70s before 'out of town' became the norm. I remember walking down Bangor High St back in 1973 when I first arrived in NW Wales and you couldn't move for people. The only people you see now are either chuggers or selling Big Issue!!
